We would like to reassure all patients visiting Adora Day Surgeries that we have strong COVID-19 management plans in place across our facilities to protect patients, our staff and visitors to minimise the risk of any infection:

  • 100% Doctor and Staff vaccination rate
  • Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • COVID-19 screening on arrival
  • Hygiene and social distancing policies
  • Pre-screening all patients before making a booking

Feeling Unwell

If you are not feeling well with any cold or flu-like symptoms or have any questions about your upcoming procedure or treatment, please contact your doctor and relevant Adora Day Surgery

Please contact the relevant day surgery and your doctor before your scheduled appointment if you have any of the following as your surgery may need to be deferred:

  • Displaying any COVID-19 symptoms
  • A confirmed close contact
  • Quarantined as a confirmed COVID positive case
  • Awaiting a COVID-19 test result

Masks

On arrival, please wear a surgical mask. Do not wear a cloth mask.

WA Patients

Due to the evolving situation, these protocols outlined below are subject to change. We encourage you to contact either your treating doctor or relevant hospital to confirm specific requirements.

Prior to admission:

  • All patients will undergo a COVID-19 risk assessment with our staff
  • All patients will need to advise their vaccination status.

When a PCR test is required:

  • PCR test is not currently required prior to admission

When a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) is required:

  • Patients must complete a negative RAT test on the morning of the procedure and either take a photo or bring the test with them in a secure plastic bag.
  • If the patient returns a positive test, please contact the Adora Day Surgery.

All patients are required wear level one surgical masks. Please do not wear a cloth mask.

Patient Visitors

Visitors must be vaccinated and limited to one person accompanying a patient. We encourage relatives/carers waiting for patients to remain outdoors and off site until the patient is ready for discharge to maintain social distancing and reduce the number of visitors and patients we have on-site.

Please note, patients and visitors must use the SafeWA app/QR code or manual registers when visiting the hospital
